Chinese families have volunteered to be hosts for students and will consider it a privilege to be selected. Their goal is to help students see, understand, and appreciate the way a typical Chinese family lives. While under their care, students will be treated as their honored guest. These families will plan ahead for students to attend such events as family and community get-together, cultural events, and recreational activities. They hope their students will take with them a deep understanding of Chinese culture in particular, and an appreciation of diversity in the world.
